Emily has over 13 years of experience across industries, company stages (start-up, growth, turnaround), and roles.
As an entrepreneur, Emily was on the founding team of two startups in the edtech space, raising over $40 million in venture capital and launching two accredited online universities that served students worldwide.
Prior to this, Emily worked as an investor at a $4 billion private equity fund, where she did $100+ million buyout transactions and helped scale the operations of companies acquired.
Emily started her career as a technology and healthcare investment banker at Goldman Sachs, where she advised on $8 billion in completed mergers and acquisitions, and helped Fortune 500 companies raise over $2.5 billion in debt and equity financing transactions.
She graduated from The Wharton School of Business at UPenn, and also studied at Harvard University and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
