Shabih Rizvi is a Founding Partner at Gradient Ventures.
Shabih was most recently a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) on the Venture Investment Team.
While at the firm he was actively involved with investments in TrueCaller, Mobcrush, Veem and Ujet. In addition, he helped the firm build their seed program. He served as advisor to KPCB’s portfolio companies Flipagram and Victorious.
Prior to KPCB Shabih held a variety of roles at Google. He was most recently a member of the Google Play team, where he founded and led the startup outreach program. Prior to Google Play, Shabih worked on the Mobile Apps Lab team which built SMB products. His primary focus was scaling TalkBin (Acquired by Google) to enterprise clients. Shabih joined Google after Google’s acquisition of AdMob, where he was a manager on the Business Development team. He began his career at Genentech in the Operations Rotational Development Program.
Shabih received a BA in Operations Research and Management Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
